Web Annotation Protocol Server

The Web Annotation Protocol server allows creating and managing annotations following the Web Annotation Data Model (WADM) specified by the World Wide Web Consortium (w3c).

It offers a full implementation of the Web Annotation Protocol (WAP) and can therefore be used standalone to annotate arbitrary digital content.

Generic service for creating and managing annotations based on a standardized data model and access interface
Fully based on RDF and therefore a first-class citizen in the linked (open) data world
Query support either via RESTful endpoints or plain SPARQL queries
Basic web interface with example data available
