Team
The HMC Hub Energy team has staff at three Helmholtz Centers:
The Energy Hub is coordinated at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), one of the largest energy research centers in Europe.
The Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) joined the Energy Hub partly due to specific metadata requirements in the field of resource technology.
The German Aerospace Center (DLR) models transformation strategies into a sustainable energy system and works with heterogeneous data sets from many scientific domains that have very different requirements for the processing and use of metadata.
At all three locations, the Energy Hub offers the opportunity to conduct student theses (bachelor's or master's) and, within the framework of projects, also internships, positions for research assistant and doctoral opportunities. KIT and DLR as Dual Partners also employ students of the Duale Hochschule (bachelor in computer science).
