TEACH 3 - Call for Abstracts is open

Together with our incubator sister platforms HIDA, HIFIS and colleagues from Forschungszentrum Jülich, HMC is organizing the third edition of Teaching Across Communities at Helmholtz (TEACH). With its theme "Explore, Exchange, Excel", this two day event is designed to build and strengthen the network of trainers, networkers and HR developers within Helmholtz. We want to exchange on best practices and lessons learned, and share resources across the whole educational lifecycle.

We launched an open call for abstracts for the TEACH. Are you teaching, developing or coordinating trainings? Do you work as a personnel developer? Then share your ideas, experiences and feedback with other educational enthusiasts. This year’s topics are:

• AI in Education

• Education on AI

• Mental Health

• Best practices in online vs offline settings

The deadline is September 13, 2023 and we are open for German and English contributions. More information on our topics and the call can be found on the TEACH event page.

As a kick-off we will have a keynote by Dr. John Bai (COER - Center for Open Education Research, Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg) who will give us some insights into their research on AI applications in higher education.
