"Research Data Commons" Report published
We are pleased to announce that we have published the report on the first Forum Helmholtz Research Data Commons!
This event was a collaborative effort between the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC) and the Helmholtz Open Science Office, aimed at improving research data management within our community.
During the opening forum, Markus Kubin and Guido Juckeland introduced key initiatives such as the HMC FAIR Dashboard and HERMES tooling approaches, which are set to enhance data management practices. Marcel Meistring also presented a forward-thinking concept for Helmholtz-wide quality indicators for scientific data and software products.
The forum provided an opportunity for stimulating discussions, where participants shared developments, experiences, and challenges. Together, they identified key obstacles and opportunities for improving the management of research data across the Helmholtz community. This event underscores the importance of community participation in shaping the future of research data practices.
