The annual call for proposals from the HGF platform Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC) has been published on June 7, 2021 and is now closed. Thank you very much for your interest and contributions!
The aim of the call is to initiate and enable activities that deal with practical challenges in the area of metadata generation and data enrichment. The call aims to fund promising joint projects whose results have the potential to be incorporated into the HMC framework at the end of the project period.
The call for applications is open to all employees of the Helmholtz Association. An application must be submitted by partners from at least two different Helmholtz Centres (or two AST programmes respectively); external partners are possible.
A maximum of € 200,000 can be applied for from the Initiative and Networking Fund (INF), counter-financing of at least the same amount must be provided by the participating centres. All together, a total of approx. € 400,000 is possible for a maximum of 2 years.
HMC Project Proposals must be submitted via the Project Proposal Portal.
