TEACH 6 - Call for Abstracts is open

08.06.2026

Together with the Helmholtz Information and Data Science Framework sister platforms HIDA and HIFIS, HMC is organizing the sixth edition of "Teaching Across Communities at Helmholtz" (TEACH).

This year’s edition focuses on evidence-based learning and learning science. The conference explores how findings from learning sciences can improve teaching, training and educational practice in scientific contexts. How do people learn effectively? Which teaching approaches are supported by evidence? And how can these insights be translated into engaging and impactful learning experiences?

We are now launching the open Call for Abstracts for TEACH 6.

Are you teaching, facilitating, developing or coordinating trainings? Do you work in HR development, education, capacity building or scientific training? Then share your ideas, experiences, methods and lessons learned with the Helmholtz learning community.

We welcome contributions on topics including, but not limited to:

  • Evidence-based learning and learning science

  • Teaching and training in scientific contexts

  • Facilitation methods and educational practice

  • Research perspectives on learning and education

  • Practical tools, methods and approaches

  • Lessons learned, challenges and success stories

Submissions connected to the conference theme are encouraged, but broader contributions related to teaching, facilitation and training are equally welcome.

The Call for Abstracts is open from 08 June to 04 September 2026. Contributions in German and English are welcome.

More information on topics, formats and submission details can be found on the TEACH event page.

Join the exchange and help shape TEACH 6.
