HMC Project Call 2026 is now open
The Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC) is pleased to announce that the HMC Project Call 2026 is now open.
This annual call offers a unique opportunity to develop innovative, interdisciplinary projects that advance metadata, research data management, and digital infrastructures across the Helmholtz Association.
Submit your proposal by 6 July 2026 and secure funding for your collaborative research project.
We particularly encourage proposals that:
address real-world challenges in research data management
improve metadata quality and interoperability
contribute to the implementation of FAIR data principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable)
foster collaboration across Helmholtz Centres and disciplines
All proposals must be submitted via the HMC Project Portal.
