HMC Conference 2027: Save the Date

The HMC Conference continues! After five successful editions, we are excited to invite you to the next Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC) Conference, taking place from 10–12 March 2027 at the KIT in Karlsruhe.

Under the theme “From Metadata to Meaning”, the conference will explore how metadata transforms research data into knowledge that can be understood, connected, and reused – by both people and machines.

Look forward to inspiring keynotes, workshops, talks, posters, demos, and booths addressing metadata from different perspectives across research disciplines and infrastructures. The conference will once again offer plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, discover new approaches, network, and collaborate.
