About HMC

Within the Helmholtz Association, HMC is part of the Helmholtz Incubator Framework for Information and Data Science. The framework bundles projects and initiatives and develops innovative approaches in information technology and processing. This challenge is addressed on all structural levels in centres, research areas and research programmes of the Helmholtz association. The aim of this initiative is to generate novel knowledge using Helmholtz data and strengthen the scientific domains with new technologies.

HMC structures are located at eleven Helmholtz Centres in Germany.
